VIS uses EasyLaser® equipment. Our lasers use the double reverse indicator method and are accurate to within .0001 inches.
Your investment in precision alignment is safeguarded, because VIS only uses precision ground stainless steel shims.
Each alignment is followed by a comprehensive written report showing initial and final alignment tolerances and if time, conditions allow, VIS will perform vibration analysis to confirm a smooth running condition.
Geometric Measurement
VIS laser systems can perform all of the most common geometric measurements, including: Straightness, Flatness, Squareness, Plump and Level. Adding appliances like prisms and sensors, VIS can perform Roll Parallel inspections and Roll Contour surveys to insure your production lines are running straight and true.
